Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha also popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is a well-known British stage and film actress who gained popularity because she was a part of the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu was a huge success on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. People loved her joyous spontaneity and there was no turning back for Gugu after a successful career in acting! She also appeared in other British stage and television productions. She has received critical acclaim for her performances in British period dramas like 'Belle' (2013) and 'Beyond the Lights' (2014). In American productions, she has been featured in TV shows such as "Undercover" as well as "Touch" in addition to as in Tom Hanks comedy film Larry Crowne. Gugu was the lead character of Jessica Swale's show in 2015, "Nell Gwynn", as an actress/mistress of King Charles II. Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on the 25th of February, 1975 at Livingston New Jersey. Her family comprised six members including Chelsea Joy Handler being the youngest. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman and housewife. Her mother immigrated to America in the year 1958 in the form of an immigrant from Germany. Handler was diagnosed with cancer of the breast in 1989. Handler was raised Reform Judaism by her father, who was Jewish. Handler was born into a nice neighborhood, and enjoyed a joyful childhood. When she was in her early 20s she moved in Los Angeles in order to take on acting. Handler began her career as an actress in order to support her. Handler, who was then 21 years of age, decided to focus on stand-up comedy as a full-time occupation following her discovery of storytelling. Handler made her debut on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly which was a reality program with a hidden-camera/practical comedy. This reality show ran from 2002 until 2005. Handler began appearing on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler worked on The Tonight Show for a while as a correspondent. Handler was given her first major break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. known as The Chelsea Handler show. It lasted two seasons. Handler was a performer at The Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour on American soil the year after. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up comedy shows. In 2010 it was announced that the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. The only woman ever to host the VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
