Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on 18 November on the 18th of November located in Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics early on discovering her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she came in second place in the 200-meter event at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She then enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set a Junior World Record by taking 200m in 22.18 second. As of 2005, she became the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her longtime Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently at the top of the podium across her diverse events during the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
